Royal Theatre Sur-Title System

Opera patrons who were seated on the main floor below the balcony were unable to see the projected word translations on the proscenium.  Sound Source and Lightrix provided two custom screens plus two projectors fitted with Navitar long throw lenses housed in a custom enclosure to allow the text only to be seen.  Now every one knows the plot.  This system was tied together with the main projector room above the upper balcony with one of Victoria’s first VGA over Cat5 distribution system.
